Ok guys, I want to tap your experience again. My truck is an '05 250 superduty FX4 crew LWB. I am wanting a little more ground clearance without spending big $$. What are your thoughts on a leveling kit (procomp??) and say 305 or 315 tires on the stock 17" wheels? Whats the best route? I don't want to go huge, just a little more clearance for the LWB and goin' for looks too.

35 X 12.50 tires should fit with no lift and no rubbing, even at full steering lock. I do however recommend the leveling kit for aesthetics, and to prevent rubbing which could occur at full suspension compression. Below is a pic of my '08 F350 4X4 with 35 X 12.50R18 Toyo Open Country MT's on stock wheels. I purchased the Tuff Country 2.5" leveling kit, and longer shocks, I just haven't had the time to install it yet. So far I have no issues. The '05 -'08 trucks are very similar, so if it works for me, it should work for you.
