More on the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor)

Been doing a bit more reading on the VSS. This component provides a lot of info to other systems, as well as the Cruise Control. ABS, SES, OD (on auto trans) Speedometer.... monitored thru the PCM parameters too.

So, if anyone has, or sees any of these indications? For 20 bucks, it's a good place to start a diagnoses (?).
