no original reciept required for warranty, just send it in and they fix it however mine went in for bent screwdriver tips and had no problem on my original. The wave is in for a broken needle nose piler tip (not a good pry bar either) I'll find out in a couple weeks if there is any cost or not but I dont' imagine so. As far as warrany issues. They have gone from a lifetime on the originals down to 25 year warranty but unless you have a model that has been out for greater than 25 years they don't have a foot to stand on in denying your warranty claim. Though it does say that they don't warranty abuse and using the blade as a prybar might qualify.

All you have to loose by shipping it to them is the knife you aren't going to use anyway. Address for repairs

How long does it take? I sent in both my old Wave and my Original PST on the 12th and have not heard anything since. I sent them Priority insured so I know they have had them for over 10 days.

Just got my Wave and PST back today. They did not fix the knife blade on the PST or the screwdriver on the Wave instead they sent me a brand NEW PST and a brand NEW Wave. Now that is customer service. :sweet
