On the driver's seat of my truck, the leather on the seat is torn and the hole is getting bigger. Has anyone ever tried to patch a leather seat? What should I use to fix this?

Go to an upholstery shop and have them fix it right. This is not the place for a 50¢ cure. Do it right.

Gonna have to agree with Dave on this one.

Mine was ripping in my truck before I traded it. I was going to order a new cover offline and take it in to have the foam redone and whatnot. An upholstry shop might be able to do a patch, but you run the risk of it not matching.

If you plan on holding onto the truck for a while, get the new cover...it will be worth it in the long run.

Would it be better to just replace the cover by the time you figure out what the upholstery shop charges?

I think that's about the only way you can repair it.. replacement..
a good upholsterer will run you about $300/chair

I had that same small piece of leather repaired in my old F350. It cost me 130.00 to have it fixed. The upholstery shop ordered a swatch of leather to match what Ford uses. They took the seat cover off and fixed it right up.

Couldn't tell it all.
