Latest recall results.. 06E17

The reason for this recall is to correct fuel injection timing during cold operation... excessive smoke, turbo control and surging at idle or cruise. .

Looks like I'll have to make an appt. at the dealer to get the new program, just started happening yesterday... runs like crap when its cold... always wants to downshift with the slightest touch of the accelerator...-mad

My motor is being pulled today. They say my leak has been traced to the bed pan. My SA admits he's not sure what that is but wanted to update me. can someone explain what it is since he could not???

It is about 2" tall and goes between the pan and the block.
