LATCH system

Hi All

Has anyone retrofitted lower anchors for the LATCH securing system, used with kids carseats.

Both our 03 and 08 have the upper anchors but not lowers, meaning it's a big PITA using the seatbelts to secure the seat..

I have the same issue with my 09! You'd think Ford could spend the fifty cents to add these to our $60k trucks!

It sucks, Ford still says the F250-and up are "work" trucks...that way they can sneak by some of the "nice bonus features" that make a difference in our lives. Don't add them, you cannot engineer it like the factory...big PITA, yes, but don't risk your kids safety!

Yup, you are absolutely right. I was brainstorming all kinds of deals with climbing webbing, rope, carabiners etc but in the end just use the seatbelts....PITA!

The lowers aren't in the '11 either.
