Four door F 250 and 350's are Crew Cabs.
Maybe that's why he thought you had a F 150.

yep that must be it, i just re-read the entire post and was confused, till now I think
still amazes me that eh PSD is on top of the food chain, but is last in line for all the neat goodies, like cooled seats in the navigator,

i would deal, i would take the spare broken one from the old truck (it wouldn't open, but it would protect)
