I just bought my truck a few months ago and it has the keypad on the door but i dont have the code. We had a Taurus and the factory code was in the trunk on the hinge, is there a code hidden somewhere on my SD? Or can anyone tell me what i need to do to get it?

Speak to your dealership and have them look it up by referencing your VIN number.

It should be listed on a card that's part of the owner's manual. Check the case that contains the manual, along with the maintenance schedule, warranty information, etc. There should be a card with five large numbers which will be the factory code. You can also change the setting to one that you can easily remember (I once used the same code as my house security code - and added a number to that).
