What exactly is the difference between a 2006 F250 CC PSD 4X4 and my 07? Just wondering. In the past I've had Fords that used some parts from the year before, some from the year after, and even some from the model year of the truck itself.

i dont think theres any diff between the 06 & 07, maybe some
software but thats about it.

The '07s are just late in the year built '06 model trucks that they slapped an '07 price tag on.

is he askin performance wise, like engine, tranny, etc??

OR, like diff. grills, bumpers, colors, stuff like that?

i know from '05 to '06, they added some diff. kinda grills (i.e. the chrome package) some diff. wheels too i believe.

There was a few cosmetic option differences between the 3 years, but other than that nothing significant.

The real difference is that the 07 is the last of the 6.0 engines, so it should have all the fixes that Ford found wrong with the earlier engines.
Just like the 2002 7.3 engines were the best of that series.

What if Ford had a few 03 engines sitting around and wanted to get rid of them before 08??, so they put them in the 07 trucks to get rid of them!!!!

Thanks for the response. I don't really care much about the asthetic changes, this 07 is still close enough to my 01 that I still think it looks good!

I was feeling pretty good about your response Maxtor until the part about the 03 engines...I've owned a # of Fords, and though I love 'em, they never cease to suprise me! That would suck! Though come to think of it, I haven't broke 14 mpg yet!
