Thanks Big Joe! Well, within the last hour or so that I have been a member, I have discovered I have a similar issue regarding the "hissing sound" from the exhaust on cold weather starts. I have also discovered here that it apparently is not a "problem", rather a condition that pretty much has to be lived with. I live in the South and cold weather is not an every day issue here, but it does get cold, and when its cold it is COLD to us. Anyway, I have learned about the EBPV and the AIH. As far as my truck...

Sometimes what seems to be a Gremlin, is just the Nature of the Beast.

If you'll go to the the User Cp, at the top of this page, then scroll down to the Edit Signature.. and enter in the the particulars about your PSD... it then becomes "Your Signature"... makes it easier for other members to help with any issues you might have.
