Just finished with Banks 6 Gun, Techni-Cooler, and gauge's. Also have Air Raid intake and MBRP 4" stainless turbo-back [Kitty is Lost and NOT coming home] and couldn't be more pleased. Just started mods, and I have a feeling I'm not done. Banks stuff is a little pricey, but the power is impressive. :burnit :hail

Drilling manifolf for EGT was a little hairy, but if you drill straight up and then clean out with small magnet, not bad. Everything went perfect, instructions were comprehensive and included pictures. Had to modify battery trays a little for new intercooler hoses. I'm impressed with it.

yep nothing like hot cast iron chipps falling down your shirt sleeve:D
i always bust through the nervousness by drilling a 1/8 " hole , then go up a few sizes , and turn the bits jsut fast enough to drouge out chips vice dust
sharp bits and low speeds work wonders on soft cast iron :sweet

how much changes did you get in egts and boost over stock?

Don't have a reference point...installed guages with programmer and cooler. Exhaust and intake done earlier.

Here is my question about the system. How do the pipes go together? I assume that you get a bunch of pipes clamps or something like that. I would feel better if it was all welded in place. Would a professional weld it or what?

I just don't know mush about the install and want to make an informed decision ya know. A friend of mine had problems with cloamps on his exhaust and ended up welding it in the end. Wasn't a diesel but I don't want to run into that problem.

I used stainless band-type clamps. No problems at all. can't speak for all systems, tho"...
