It's on it's way. Went with the 4" turbo back system. In "pro" # 17922, and then I bought a clamp on 5" tip seperately. Came out cheaper that way vs buying the XL kit which came with the tip included. Can't wait to get it on the truck.

Ill be interested in hearing how much (if any) cutting you have to do
and how well this all goes together.

Only cutting I should have to do, is on the extension pipe which is determined on your wheel base. Other than that... it's supposed to be a bolt on job. Got it from my local 4wheel parts, some friends work there and they said those are the easiest to install ie no fabbing.

I had no problem with mine whatsoever. Fit very well. The only cheesy thing about mine is that the 4" pipe extended out to the edge of the 5" tip, so basically you see two concentric circles at the tip. It bothered me enough to the point where I took my Roto-zip and a 3" wheel, stuck it in as far as I could go and cut off the 4" pipe. Call me crazy.

Alrighty guys. Installed it today. Man is the Down pipe larger than the OEM!! That is what I consider the biggest difference. Install was pretty straight forward, except pulling the crossmember was a PITA! and pulling the DP out was tricky, good thing I have a 4" lift, gave me more room to wiggle it out. Anyway, got it all together, I had some alignment issues with the pipe infront of the muffler and getting all the hanger bushing & barbs to line up perfectly. But with a bit of finessing I got it. I cut about 5" off the tail pipe b/c I have a tip on the end, and didn't like how you could see the 4" pipe inside the 5" tip right there at the opening; Eye sore really. So it looks a lot better now with the pipe cut back. Started it up... QUIET!! :cowboy: I've been driving around with the factory system straight piped. Much quieter with this system. NO rushing air, and all that stuff. and driving it is much quieter too, and when you floor it... it's not crazy loud. Nice tuned sound. not like some 60's straight piped 4 barrel job. Overall, I'm happy so far. I have to tweak it tomorrow, gotta check it for leaks using soap & water bottle, and I lost 2 SS nuts off 1 clamp, so I picked some up tonight to replace the Temp Grade 8's. Only thing that would make this kit better... Alignment notches on the piping. Like the OEM pipes. that way you're not wiggling, and messing with alignment as much.
