as a matter of fact, i don't have any "air horns,"

i have TRAIN HORNS, all though they are operated by air, but they are the real deal Leslie Supertyphon Train Horns, not the cheesy chinese trumpets that everybody and their brother sells on ebay.

mine have a deep throaty sound, but they carry for a really long way.

i accept your challenge!!! :thumbs

if i had the time to play with video, i would make sure to get some of the horn action on the web!

i started with train horns from elizabeth truck center in NJ, and followed up with 7 gal tank, largest air ride pump i could find, $400 industrial actuater and so on. it is all about the amount of pressure at the horns, and how quick you can get the air throught them. i do have the triple set up, not the Lislie like yours. i have mine pointed forward, right under the passengers rear set on the drivers side. high pressure hose ran in the straightest line possible! i will geta pic of them the next time i get the truck on the lift.

If you are going to have to change injectors.. GET A HOLD of Beans Diesel Performance. he can go through your stockers our mod them up a little.
Be fore warned.... once the mods start, the new found power is addictive. Of course I am sure you bought this truck to WORK, so you wont go all out as I am sure it has to be reliable and ready to go. On the pass side valve cover there should be a stick indicating date horsepower etc.
Otherwise there is a serial number on the engine block by where the oil filter screws on. OR on a paper sticker on the front of the High Pressure Oil Resivoir. Grab that serial number and we can try to decode it for you and pin a date down. You are going to need that serial number for buying parts. Especially from International dealer.
Welcome and have fun!

thanks RichH! i will get that info wheni get it into the garage. i have not even chaged the oil in it yet. i drive it to my shop and parked it a few days ago.

i have a Suburban 6.5 TD that i have about 10K in extras in, so i know it gets very addicting to keep adding things!! for this F450 i just bought a 3 gauage pillar pod, and now im trying to find 3 matching gauges for boost, EGT, and either oil pressure or water temp, have not decided??

thanks for the welcome guys!!
