A few weeks ago I installed the MBRP "cool duals", and while the improvement was very nice in terms of sound and throttle responsiveness
, the sound was not quite what I was looking for --- lots of air rush, not enough rumble.
Ordered the "test" pipe 
from ITP and waited for the weather to break in Michigan 37degF today --- good enough for me. 25 minutes later I was done--- WOW!
Sounds like a jet starting to spool at idle, and when the idle kicked-up a bit to 1000rpm, it only got better. Next was the all important test run sans-radio. Outstanding improvement to the low end rumble at 1,500rpm, and a WOT punch makes it sounds as good as any dual exhaust muscle car. I'm all grins. EXACTLY what I was looking for....
