If you read my previous post, I need front brakes for my truck, and I plan to get the powerslot cryo rotors. After searching several site, for as much information I can get, I noticed that the part number for the rotors are for the built after 3/15-21 trucks.
My truck is a late 99 that was built 2/99. Late engine upgrades, but early brakes.
THIS IS WHY I AM PULLING MY HAIR OUT IN LARGE FISTFULLS!!!
So I called DPPI for information. Fortunately they can get the early cryo powerslots for my truck. Thanks you again, if you are reading this.
But I forgot to ask about pads. Is there a difference in pads from early to late brake builds? Or are the Hawk HB302Y.700 the ones for all?
Besides taller rotors, what other differences are there between the two brake setups? Is it easy to convert too, and worth the effort?
15 to 45 days is all this truck needed to be a complete late truck.
Thanks for letting me vent, and for the help I am about to receive.
