Finally made it home at 7 pm. Have been chaseing drifts all day. Back by 5:30 tomorrow. We ended up with 16 inches but are still in a blizzard warning until 6 am tomorrow.

I can't imagine what you guys are going through. Here it is in the 70's and washed the explorer yesterday in my shorts. I took this picture this morning and think it is a better picture of the snow on Mt. Shasta.

If my memory serves correct, I think ~12.5" + blowing snow, heavy heavy wet snow. Made #5 snow storm of MN history...

It's finally ended here in DA U.P. It snowed continuously from about noon on Thursday and didn't end until mid afternoon today, Saturday. They just said on the news that Marquette got 21" and nearby Negaunee got a whopping 30".
The snow on my deck is a good 3.5' deep.
and it's gotta be a good 2.5' to 3' deep on the roof.
I just finished clearing a good 12"+ out of the driveway for the second time in as many days.
I had to take Mrs Tail_gunner to work Thursday night because her car couldn't make it out of the neighborhood.
On top of all that, I had to go over to my daughter's place to blow her driveway out because her landlord was nowhere to be found.
They say that when March comes in like a lion, it goes out like a lamb. I hope that's the case, this was a pretty big "lion".
