In the current economy, many businesses have had to face the difficult decision to downsize. We are confident that beyond 2010, the RV industry will thrive. But, for the immediate future, we have had to make some difficult decisions and downsize/reorganize our current staffing levels.

Unfortunately, those decisions affect your continued employment and we will not be calling you back to work in 2009.

I certainly wish you the best of luck with future employment. If there is anything I can assist you with in you endeavors, please let me know.

In other words, the store manager & I had a difference of opinion.

My opinion:I think he is an ass who is an autocratic style manager who likes to inimidate and patronize people.

His opinion: He thinks his sh*t don't smell.

I was laid off back on 02.. was forced to apply for jobs that I would not have normally applied for to keep the unemployment coming in.. ended up with an interview & then hired, bus stop signs, managed contract for installation and repair of "city bus" stop signs.. most fun job I ever had.. $$$ wasn't great but job was easy and fun.. had a new GMC 1/2 ton 2wd Pick-up with a big rack of yeller lights on the roof and big "I'm allowed to go anywhere" stickers (County Seal) on each door.. AM/FM and A/C.. life was good.. gave me foul weather gear & even paid me..
