It"s raining !!!

Yep it's been warm here though we've actually managed to get an adequate amount of rain lately. I can say my father in law in Plant City FL does have blueberries coming in on his bushes right now which is almost 2 months early due to the mild winter we've had

North Texas is under a winter advisory with a few counties under a winter storm warning right now. High today was 81, supposed to be down to 18 for Monday morning with a chance of freezing rain and sleet. When the cold front hits, our temps will drop like a rock all day Sunday. I'm tired of this, ready for spring.

We got about 2.5" out of these last two rains. Good soaking rains.... Didn't fix anything drought wise... but sure cleaned up the air and rinsed things off real good.

We need more.

Hopefully you'll get more soon. The system coming toward us that is supposed to be freezing rain and sleet is coming from California. I remember in the spring of 2000, we were moving into our current house and got 12 inches of rain in June, and not any measurable rainfall for three more months. The lake near us is now 13 feet below normal. Several years ago it got down to 17 feet below normal, then rains started, and it rose to 10 feet above normal, a total rise of 27 feet. I'd like to see enough rain to bring it at least to a normal level, if not a couple of feet above. Since most areas around here use the lakes for water supplies, we're under water restrictions.

Central California get more rain than Northern California for a change. We got 2.1 inches. We ALL need more.
