i just bought a 06 250 4x4 with the 6.0 and so far its the best truck i have ever had but i am new to diesels and i have some questions... i travel for work and put around 2k on it a week(not loaded, just my crew and our tools).. a few of my questions r- what are the best mods for mileage, what is the best summer time fuel additive, can i put an indash tv in place of the factory radio?? oh and is it possible to get 20 miles to the gallon with no tuner because thats what my math keeps showing??

Retrain your right foot.. But with a "Crew & Tools" ? I'm not sure.

You can get 20+Mpg if you keep out of it and go no more than 67mph. I have gotten 21.9 once and I was half crazy going that slow.

what is the best summer time fuel additive? TCW3 2-stroke oil (1oz per gallon) and Power Service have been good for me.

can i put an indash tv in place of the factory radio?? Yes there are plenty of head units and dash kits to install a screen. Worst thing is it's illegal to use when driving.

oh and is it possible to get 20 miles to the gallon with no tuner because thats what my math keeps showing?? Make sure you fill up the tank till you see fuel at the opening. Do this several times while tracking your miles driven between fill-ups. Post your numbers.
