Is Your Xmas Tree Still UP?

OK, i know that there are a bunch of us out there, who have yet to take down there christmas trees.

we just took ours down tonight. i really hate that part. pushin the pre'lighted xmas tree up the attic stairs.

On Jan. 1, you're not allowed to watch bowl games until the outside lights are down. the tree and everything else inside is the wife's responsibility while I'm on the roof. Then I carry it all to the attic. Rules are rules!

Peter, you could follow the advice that Gretchen Wilson's song "Redneck Woman" and keep your Christmas lights on your front porch all year long!

We took the decorations off the tree on December 31 and the tree came down on January 1. We'd had it about 12 years, so we trashed it and will get a new "pre-lit" one for next Christmas. Didn't have enough working lights to string across the front, so they never got put up.

Our tree was down 12/23 because it is a living tree and we were going down to my parents house for Christmas. We live out where no one can see the house so I never put lights up. I think next year I may run a cord out to the street and put some lights out there.
