Is this a factory color on my 2K SD

I've never seen a color that looks like this on a Super Duty. It's a blue color but it has a purple tint to it in the sunlight and looks almost black at night.

Here is a shot of it that you can see the sparkle of the paint.

I love the paint on it. I've got nothing but compliments on it. Anyone know the paint code off hand? The door sticker on my is smudged right where it shows the code. I need to get some new pictures of it now that I got my clear headlights and signals in it...

paint code on my truck...EXT PNT L2 and RC B8. not sure if that last part means anything....

I have a friend that had one that looked like that. It was a nice looking truck.

it looks like med. wedgewood blue, which is the color on my '04

the dupont formula has pearl and metallic flakes in it that give it that hue.

there is a PSD that runs around in my area that is a carbon copy of your truck and it doesn`t look any different in the sun or in the dark. but, i have only seen your truck in the pics...just my 2 cents worth....

A friend of mine has the same color its like a dark blue matalic and looks black at night. He even got pulled over because the cop ran the plate and thought it was stolen his sargent had to tell him it was blue not black.
