It seems the last brake job I did using a check book, ended up later on with siezed slider pins and frozen caliper bolts.
Then before that, the front right brake hose had a 360* twist in it, looked like a damned pretzel. That was the same shop that changed the rear end lube and sheered a bolt off when they put the cover back on. They glued the bolt head back on with silicone gasket maker.
I'm very fussy about mechanical work on my truck. There is nobody that'll do a better quality job on my truck than me. I try to save everything I can until spring so I can do it myself. If it can't wait, then I have to decide whether I do it in the snow (see D66 turbo install)

or pay someone who can do it indoors to do it for me.
I won't be buying anymore front bearing hubs. I've got real bearings with the Dynatrac. Good old fashioned clean & repack cup & cone bearings.
