Master Po and Master Kan-

I humbly thank you for your advice. The drive home, said girlfriend said "you know, your truck is too LOUD" as I drove by an old man waiting for a bus and he looked at me funny... oh well, I am still stock and a boy can only dream.'

I got rid of the shakes by spending some time at powerstrokeshop.com tonite. a nice cup of tea and visions of a better truck...

thanks for letting me vent.

It is twice as bad when you take it in and get anything done. I check and double check my own work but if I get anything done first I redo it then check, double check and triple check it.

Ain't it amazing how some of the "new" noises have always been there, but you've been unable to hear them because of all the other louder stuff going on you've focused on. I just heard my turbo yesterday....really subtle but now perceptible because I've unconsciously begun to tune out the routine loud stuff.

I always knew it was there because when it spools up it's like an automatic tranny kicking down and there's the blast of acceleration. I've seen so many complaints about the 7.3 not living up to new owners' expectations where power is concerned; whereas, I was shocked at what a screamer mine is being that it's most likely the heaviest F-350 produced.

I wonder if it has a chip....I figure out where to look and I'm gonna find out. Or, perhaps it's been reflashed beyond stock specs.

There is NO known cure for this form of PMS. The only options we have are:

1. Sell the Ride.

2. Do therapy, which includes.... BMP (Buy More Parts) or DMM (Do More Mods).

These Therapys are only temporary relief however, lasting only one, maybe two weeks... or until yer knuckles heel up.

Then the (suspected) Sounds, Smells and Feelings we get thru the Steering wheel, and the Seat of our Pants, cause the PMS symptoms to re-occure.... and then it's...... BMP & DMM again.

;) :D

Well I am NOT crazy master... my PSD training seems to be working...silver dollar sized green spot under the truck this morning. -mad

I had moved the truck to get the car out and noticed the spot, so I could not determine where the spot was under. :(

I took a quick look up under the engine and radiator and did not see anything obvious as far as streaks or trails.

At lease I still have some warranty remaining to get it fixed if I need. I am more worried about the dog getting to the antifreeze puddles than anyhting.

Oh well, the joys of ownership....
