I have seen a new product that replaces the stock intake manifold and claims to increase air flow. I didn't see any customer comments on the web site and wondered if anyone here has one. It is CFM Plus and does decrease the tight bends on the stock. They are 400 bucks or so. It sounds like it could be worth some more looking into.

From what I've heard...its nothing more than a decoration. Save your money for something thats more worthwhile (exhaust, gauges, intake) For around 400 bucks, you could buy any of those and they would be WAYYY more beneficial to you.

you know thats what I was going to say. I ported and polished my intake on the race car for the cost of a couple of dremel wheels and saved myself close to $300 bucks. If you really wanted to you can take the outside of your intake to a bench polisher/grinder and hit the out side to a polish and then leave it or paint it. still WAY cheaper than $400.

Sure would. I know a coupla guy that have done the Dremel tool thing to the inside bore.. they say they can't tell any REAL dif.. Proly one of those "makes ya feel better" deals, JMO.

Seems to me that.. Under turbo pressures.. it would take some Rocket Math to prove any better Laminar air flow... For a Daily Driver that is. If we were all.. Naturally Aspirated.. might be a different deal ?

:dunno To each his/her own.. on this one.
