Install new tc and vb....second gear probs?

Well installed the Factorytech tc and accumulator and it seems to have a stumble in the top of second gear...(hard to count gears with lockup..) Under WOT in first boost will reach 27 psi then shift, second will reach 27 then drop down to 22ish and fumble around until it shifts into what I think is third (doing 50+) and it will hold 27ish constant all the way up til I let off (it may be third gear because I hammer it in second...) Trans temps before and after stay consistent and there is no SES light or overboost code. It did not do this before the install.

Also, the batteries were disconnected over night so my only other conclusion was that it needed to "relearn" so I reinstalled the same hi-performance tune from the SCMT (no change).

I have heard when reprogramming the computer on them you have to go through 20 light shifts before hammering on it for the computer to learn the program.

Umm...what if it's too late, should I reinstall or just give it time..

I would reinstall if you have hammered on it any. Then take it easy for the first 20-30 shifts so it can learn them. Then hammer down all you want. Its hard I know to take it easy. But go run some errands in it around town and just run it through the gears.
