Question inside dimmer switch

Hey dudes,
I have an 05 superduty diesel rig.

I just installed an aftermarket stereo and everything looks good. However I did notice one quirk. The inside dimmer switch no longer works. The instrument gauges work but there is no light on the panel for seeing the gauges when I'm running early morning. The dimmer switch will still light up the inside dome light. Any ideas?

Maybe you knocked off a wire on the dimmer switch. Blew a fuse???

Upon further noodling, I find that when I turn the key to the accessory side, the odometer which typically has the lite numerical out put does not light up and the inside dome light goes off. When started the dome light is fine and the full instrumentational dash is lite as well. So made it goes through the accessory side of the ignition? I can't find any blown fuse at this point.
