i have 04 f250 6.0L diesel how do tell its 04 or an 04, 1/2 there is injectors for an 04 and 04 1/2. thanks

Your terminology is a little off; early 04 or late 04. Early is built before Oct 15th of 2003 ( I think ) and the later ones are after that. My dates are off by a few days at most.

should beable to go by your production date like Dave said....another way to tell is where your ICP sensor is. either in the right valve cover or underneath the turbo....

I think i saw somewhere where they changed that in 03.. if your truck was made after sept or 03 then its in the valve cover.. so maybe that isn't a way to tell on an 04... i could be completely wrong...

also can go by the VIN #....if you buying injectors from the dealer or atleast getting a price....just went through this all this couple months ago.
