If an injector was stuck open, your truck would not stat due to loss of high pressure oil.
I would suspect the actual electric fuel pump. They are just not as reliable as the stock mechanical.
Next time you drop to zero psi, jump under the truck (providing its parked) and feel the pump, is it running? If the truck dies you may have to jump the oil pressure sensor to make sure there is power feeding to the pump.
They ain't cheap so some diag time is well spent.
Fuel filter ok?

pumps running when it dies and like i said the gauge will say 0PSI but crack a line open and it will cover you in fuel.

is this the 'replacement' engine with old fuel system on it? which HPOP are you running?

i have the BDP fuel system on it.im running the stealth with 2 SD pumps.when its dieing it will go up to araound 2200PSI with my foot to the floor to keep it running.and dureing this its belching black smoke like crazy.

the fuel system uses the NPT fittings on the passengers head on mine.all threads were sealed with thread tape.and i have no fuel leaks.the gauge is good.when it dies it has zero pressure.but let it sit for about 5 minutes or so with the key on and you can watch the pressure slowly rise to 80PSI and here the pump start straining.then when you crank it to fire it up again it sounds like a gasser with the timing advanced too far, binds up while cranking.when it does finally start it will turn the whole parking lot from day into night.

its starting to make sense after reading your last post, that an injector could be sticking open, and the
gasser with the timing advanced too far
is from it hydrolocking.....?

this has me interested, to say the least!
