injector repair

Howdy folks,
I have an issue to run by you. I just got done replacing the O-Rings on my injectors. I did get some oil in one of the cylinders, but got most of it out with a hand sypher. Here is my problem. The engine cranks over, but no fire.
I figure I just needed to get fluids flowing again, so I cranked it for about 5 seconds then let it rest for about 30 seconds. I repeated this about 15 times and still nothing. I removed one of the oil rail plugs on the passenger side and oil shot out as soon as I broke the seal of the O-ring. As far as I can tell, the glowplugs are working by testing the GPR and the resistance of the plugs at the harness. I have checked fuse #22 and it's good. I have charged the batteries to make sure they are full.
Any ideas?

Do you still have the valve covers off? If so have someone check the oil spouts while cranking to make sure they are spitting oil. Check your HPOP reservoir to make sure its full. Check your VC connections to make sure you are connected and getting voltage to the injectors. Make sure Maxi fuse #9 is in and in good order, that powers the IDM. You may also want to lengthen your cranking time from 5 seconds to 20-30 seconds with a 60 second rest cycle.

crank the nuts off of it like 95 said, 20 seconds is a good crank. try that for 5 times, if it doesnt fire still after that, then i would move on to other things.

sometimes when there is air in the system (oil or fuel) the pump has a lot of squishing to do to fully compress the air enough to actually start building pressure.

O.K I tried checking the Oil spitting out of the oil rail ( made a slight mess but oh well). Fuse # 9 is good. I cranked it for about 20 seconds on 1 minute off and did that about 8 times. I now have the batteries on charge again to make sure they stay full.
I connected my superchips tuner up and read the codes ( I am still in stock mode). It gave me an error code P1212. According to the book, it says that is an incorrect voltage on the ICP. After the batteries are charged again, I will reset and see if it clears.

I guess I will just keep cranking on it for now until we come up with something else. I also found that my fuel heater is not working which is just great for Wyoming weather. Good thing my garage is heated.

So you are getting oil out the spouts on that side? Do you have fuel in the fuel filter cannister?

I finally got it running. After fully charging the batteries and cranking the heck out of it like you said, it finally got going. I sure appreciate your help.
I can't believe the difference in how it runs with new O-Rings. I guess mine were worse than I thought. Thanks again everyone.
