Question In tank

A buddy just told me that there are 2 fuel filters in the tank. His truck is a 2002 & my truck is a early 1999. Do I have a filter inside my tank ???

its a tretch, but i guess an accurate statement.

there is a screen on the tank foot for picking out big bits of crap.

X2.. As dp sez: A screen Yes.. but it's a BIG stretch... to call it a FILTER.

So, NO.. you Do Not.. have any (maintenance required) filter(s) in your fuel tank twt..

Thanks , I had the tank out a Long time ago & did not remember there being a filter. Now I can`t remember if I bent the return tube in there???
