The truck is running great now, BUT I cant trust that the truck will not crap out again. It has cost me 15K+ in 4 head jobs, two blocks not counting the 8 trips to GA and back in less then a year, plus the lost time and sales at work. That little bird is still going you need to cut your losts and move on to another truck. :dunno

No after reading and talking to a friend that has a F450 and the dealer having to put in a new motor. I changed my mind on the 450. What I found out is that there is a problems with the bottem end of the 6.4 does not like high rpm that the high gearing the 450 and 550 have like the 5.33 gears.

So you got a 350? Give us details.

FYI, regarding getting an '11 over an '08-'10, I've heard many great things about the new 6.7 engine and that Ford has "gotten it right" when it comes to a great towing engine that gets good mileage when not towing. Yesterday I made a trip to get my mom in Louisiana (approximately 600 miles round trip), and seemed to see as many '11s on the highway as '08-'10s. Of course that big old '11 grille is easy to spot too.
