IDM MOD

ive done it.made a bit of a diffenece in the way it idles and in the throttle responce.but for some reason and i dont know why it went bad on me.but that might have been something else as i had a melted piston.havent put it back in since the new motor.but with the issues i am haveing at the moment i may try it tomorrow to see what happens.

I would be curious as to your results also.

Stock IDMs do fail. So I have no doubt in believing a modded one would fail also. Did it take out a piston too? Thats hard to swallow, but without know more, who is to say.

I've got like 3 IDMs sitting on my floor at home that I keep meaning to mod, so I can swap them out on my truck to see what difference it makes. Ive just been so dam busy!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had one for 100k++ no problems and works as everyone says. Get one from Dale @Tymar as I know it works and its cheep, plus Dales a great guy and fantastic source of info.
