I added the X-car under dash panels to mine. Helped a bunch, and are
only around $60 total from the dealer. Problem is that they are only
made for auto-trans. The X-car doesnt come with a stick.

Also did the in-tank mods that helped too.

Reminds me... I need to check the pre-pump filter, it has clogged a few
times already.

I hear that our trucks got louder after ULSD was introduced. Mine sounds like there's a hole in the firewall. I'm going to try and spray some undercoating inside and under.

Don't know if you tried this yet Hoss but adding 2 cycle oil to my 7.3L quieted down the engine pretty good. Getting the fuel pressure into the 68-72 psi range will help for sure.

What Bill sez about the fuel pressure and I did the door seal mod then I packed the rear doors with 3M insulation. Cut & scored some pieces of 1" Tyvec foam board to fit in the front doors (and still have window up-down clearance)

My Pioneer has a max volume of 60.. I play it @ 18-20 and can have normal conversation with the wife:dunno

On Edit: I just added my first 16 oz of 2 cycle oil today. We'll see what that does. Also, put a 1/2'a tank of B20 in for the first time, We'll see what that does Too.
