whats the dpf? and if you take the cat out does it void the warranty?

DPF stands for Diesel Particulate Filter. It's an emmisions filter standard on ALL diesel powered cars and trucks 2008 and newer. (here in the states anyways.) There are even some 2007 Big Rig's with them on too.
