i think u fell hook, line and sinker. it was only a loaner - and i drove it like one too....

FWIW: wife says my truck has this one beat "hands down" - her own words..

and yes, the pinion seal WAS fixed - at least thru tonite anyway, no leaks... just installed incorrectly. did say if it did leak again it would be the 'flange' and if it leaked again it would be the WHOLE pumpkin replaced...

The only thing from the new rigs that I want is the tailgate. I WILL have one. I WILL make it fit. It WILL be nice to not have to jump up onto my old 'gate and lean on the 'ol knee caps. The "single mom" pole is a little wierd but I can work through that.

Hey Irish 4x4...the tailgate should fit no problems...its one of the direct swap parts...now with that step..not sure..that will be a trial and error deal, but I dont see why it wouldnt work.

The step works great. I weigh 270 with bad knees and the pole really helps. The sticker on the gate says it's good for 350lbs.
