ok, so it doesnt necessarily sound like it was hyrdo locked...
and since it DID start im not sure the HPOP is the problem (although
it would of course need to be checked).

the smoke would indicated over fueling but this sounds like more than
ONE injector

perhaps the ICP ?

We shall find out later today. Gonna pull it to the dealership before lunch.

I did go ahead and price injectors at the dealership yesterday, they would be between 230.00 to 260.00 each. I can get stage 1 inj. from Elite for about the same price and they would work fine with the regulated fuel return system I had installed on the truck a few months ago.

I only live less than a mile, so I will probably pull it there with my Dad's '84 Chevy (imagine that).

Well don't feel bad because in 84 was when GM actually made something. It was 1990 that GM went south. By the way is the bed and cab on the chevy still together?

Bama, I'm hoping its simple. The last time you were in a panic, if memory serves, it was your over-flow tank. Not trying to be a smart-ass, just saying it could be something stupid. I hope it is, I gotta tell ya I like your truck. The detail work under the hood alone speaks volumes on the way you care for it.

I am actually very calm, what ever it is, it is. But I am hoping for something quick & simple, but if not, I will deal with it when it comes.

Just pulled it to the dealer. My cousin towed me in with a Jeep Wrangler.
