For the longest time I been looking for a clean used front captain seat bottom cover for the X as I had cut it during a radio install a long time ago,early last week I made my random stop by at the online auction and found a seller with the complete seat cover set for all three rows(bottoms,backs,head rests,2nd row center,EVERYTHING) from his '02 Excursion,now my first thought was this is definitely going to head into several hundred dollars by closing but for what Ford parts charges on all the cover pieces this could be quite a bargain if I get it all for under a grand.
If my Excursion brothers and sisters are considering replacing parts on their X's with OEM parts I'd get on the search now while parts are clean and in great condition!
Won't be long before Ford starts obsoleting their parts inventory for the Excursion.
I swear the covers were removed from the seats right after owner delivery in 2002 for these puppies are like brand new
