The moderators appreciate everyone's efforts in flagging the spam. It helps us track it down, delete it, and ban the users.

So if the spam lingers for a bit until it gets dealt with, especially if you have already flagged it, know that we aware of it and that one of us will get to it as soon as we can.

Remember most of us have 'regular' jobs which in addition to our home lives, take up most of our time. We are not sitting here on the forum 24/7 to watch out for spammers and 'defend the gates'. We do the best we can with the time we donate.

if he keeps coming back with a new IP from the same provider, you can ban a block of IP's with vBulletin (I would assume, depending on the version). This was a tactic PSN used before it got sold to Autoguide.

Something has got to be done to stop this crap. When I retired in July, I got a new email address for the new firm I was going to work for. Within 2 hours of getting the new address, I got enough spam to last a lifetime. How do they get that info so quickly? Undoubtably they sit 24/7 at their computers trying to come up with ways to scam people.
