Rich,

I've been wearing corrective lenses since 3rd grade, contacts since 10th grade. Without them I couldn't tell the difference between a glow plug and a sparkplug!:roflmao
I keep trying to save enough money to have my eyes "fixed". Mod-money, or eyes fixed?? Let's just say I'm still wearing contacts! ;)

dont want contacts.id be dumb enough to poke myself in the eye or something.
I was finally going to break down and get contacts a couple of months ago, but the doc said that they would reduce my distance vision quite a bit, and I can't get lasik surgery, so I'm stuck with glasses. I've had bifocals (the kind without the lines) for several years and they're great. The last glasses I got in September are the kind without any frames around the lenses, just frames for the temples and nosepiece. That's the kind that seems to be "in style" now. They're "light as a feather" and feel really good.

ive been wearing glasses since a few years after working on
computers...got my 1st pair of bifocals last year...and ive been
fighting 'em for at least the 1st 6months...now i wear 'em all the
time.

i got the ones where you cant see the bifocal (no line)...

tried contacts years ago...couldnt stand 'em and even the doc
said there not for everyone...said...youre used to the glasses...
why fight it....and expensive lesson but still one learned...

i dont think i could deal with a bifocal.im haveing a hard enough time getting use to a normal lens while driveing.i think the Bifocals would make it worse.i dont know how many times these things almost got tossed out the window yesterday-mad .but i cant do it cuz i do like the way i can see things now :D just gotta get used to them.another issues is i never liked haveing something like glasses in front of my eyes, never liked safety glasses, welding helmets, sunglasses or goggle while rideing the quad.but i have to get used to the glasses.
