Its all part of the aging process. I first noticed it when I was in my early forties. Log book and gages kept getting harder to see.
"reading" glasses sufficed for awhile but finally I had to break down and get bifocals.

Don't fight the bifocals, just get them. I finally got mine a few years ago after having two pair of glasses, reading and normal vision. You don't know how hard it is to have two sets of glasses for everything you do.

i aint fighting them.my health insurance only pays for one pair of thier frames/lenses.but it takes 3-4 months to get them.so i said let the insurance pay for the bifocals and ill buy 2 pair on my own.this way i can keep the insurance pair at home or at the shop.and use the other 2 for while im driving or sitting watching TV or something.

wathed a whole movie tonight and was able to sit down without moveing around to get a better focal point.:D :sweet

It is all part of getting older. I have bifocals for 5 years now. Get the ones without the line. I think they are called transitional. I have them for when I clean my contacts. Keith

seeing up close like my gauges, books, computer screen and stuff like that have always been an issue for me.ive always been able to see things far from me.but even the distance has been going downhill for a while now.just finally decided to have the old peepers checked out.shouldve done it sooner.
