My dad is too practical and because of it he wont get a super duty. I've tried everything but he will only buy a gasser. Its going to be an F-150 at least. He likes the size of the F-250 but not the price. Oh well, I guess its a good thing I got mine before I had things like a house and a family to pay for. Got to get all of the toys before I settle down. A flats boat is next on the list. If anyone knows where I can get a good deal on a new or used Mitzi, Hewes, baycraft or Kew West flats boat let me know. I've got to get at those redfish before I go nuts.

Have your dad go to either www.kbb.com , or www.nada.com and have him build both trucks the way he wants. Then look at the price difference. The SD will hold its value longer than the F150. I built my truck as a F250 then built it as a F350. The price difference was like $600. When you spend over $40K what is another $600? Keith

Plus if he's gonna keep the truck a long time, he's better off with a PSD. Of course, you could still keep talking him about it and eventually get him to get a 150 Diesel when it is introduced in 2009-2010.

To some people, money is everything, as is price tag. They can't see past it. They see $600 saved while you and I see +$35K wasted on a truck we don't want, won't last and won't keep its value.

It's a form of a mental disease.
