Now that I disagree with, if the money was earned legally by legal immagrants then they are free to do with it what they choose. The last thing we need is the govt telling us how to spend our money or where we are allowed to keep it at.

Me either but the problem around here is illegal immigrants which we both know the origination of, and that's the topic I was discussing. I could care less what legal immigrants do with their money, but it's a double edged knife when they are here illegally, don't pay taxes, and the illegal money they made here doesn't even get spent here.

Pulled off the Interstate fer fuel (Border town), local cop pulled me over...Said Nicely: This is'nt a good place for us to be, after dark, in an RV, escorted us to a Truck Stop, a few miles away.

Since it is dangerous to make generalizations, I don’t like to talk about groups as a whole. However, it is beyond me how these illegal immigrants come to America in blatant disregard for our laws, and then get free health care, in-state tuition for every state, etc, etc, and STILL they do not have to pay taxes.

Now, they want citizenship, but refuse to get in line. They want it now! That somehow belittles and demeans the efforts of those that actually did the right thing and got in line, and entered our country LEGALLY.

The thing that gets me, is that barring a criminal conviction, it is pretty much impossible to NOT be legally admitted into the US. My friend came in, he said that the answers to all the tests could be learned in an afternoon, and the rest was all background checks, etc. We do not have closed borders. We let pretty much anyone in that wants to come in. ALL THAT WE ASK is that you go through the proper channels and complete the requirements to become a citizen, which are not difficult. This is too much to ask of these people. They show their disrespect and contempt for America before they even enter it, by purposely skirting our laws.

These are not IMMIGRANTS. These are ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. They are criminals. We asked them to come, we welcomed them to our country, and all we asked in return was that they let us know that they are here, take a test to make sure they know enough about America to be functional citizens, and that is pretty much it! That is too much for them, they want everything GIVEN to them, healthcare, a place to live, citizenship. They take no personal responsibility for their actions or their own good, so why in the heck do we want them around?

Also, attempts to tie any of this to racism are just stupid. This has nothing to do with me disliking Mexicans. This has everything to do with me disliking people that willingly, knowingly, and uncaringly break our laws while living off of our milk and honey, and then turn around and say we are not giving them enough.

Problem with that is MOST illegals have LEGAL family members in the states.
