Its actually not that much louder, it def has a bit more of a low drone to it. I didnt want it too loud any way since it is a company truck.

Do a different intake like the DIY intake and you will definately love the sound.

Is the zoodad mod as good as a manufacturer purchased cold air intake?

I've never done that mod. They say it works great. A few guys on here have done it.
