Hypertech dyno numbers

Here is what Hypertech found for a stock 2004 6.0 on their dyno.

@ 2000 rpm: 166 hp and 436 fpt.
@ 2500 rpm: 217 hp and 464 fpt.
Max hp = 296 @ 3350 rpm
Max Tq = 473 @ 2250 rpm




Hypertech stage 3

@ 2000 rpm: 219 hp and 575 fpt.

thought we had more hp then that from factory (215 hp & 425 tq) ohh well... im sure im pushing a lot more hp and tq. hopefully ill get my truck on the dyno and let everyone know.

Factory numbers.

Factory hp and torque numbers are at the flywheel. The 6.0 is said to have 325 hp and 570 fpt. Actual measured numbers at the wheels are
296 hp and 464 fpt. But more importantly is what are the hp and torque numbers at the rpm that you normally run your vehicle. In my case it is at 2000 rpm which is 166 hp and 436 fpt.
When I purchase a 5th wheel or TT the hp and torque numbers will be important at 2500 rpm, because in my situation, if going up a long hill in direct drive (5th gear) at 60 mph the tach is at 2500 rpm. I have been checking on different systems(chips and programmers) to see what hp and torque numbers are generated at 2000 rpm and 2500 rpm which are the important numbers for my truck and my needs.
Other people's needs and trucks might need different numbers.
