I am in the midst of installing the ITP regulated return kit and I dropped the rear-most driver's side fitting and the fitting went to the same place my socks go when they disappear from the dryer. Three of us looked all over the engine compartment for ~ 2 hrs and couldn't find it no matter how we tried. So I callled Dennis to overnight me a new one since I don't have the time to call all over town trying to find somebody who had that particularly odd fitting in stock. He got one off with the UPS man and if Dale J. is driving it, I should have the new fitting on my doorstep by tomorrow morning. Hopefully my truck will be back running tomorrow afternoon and I'll be able to get all mushy over how smooth the PSD runs.

Glad Dennis got you fixed up.:sweet Unless he's using special hose ends I would think that the 1/8"NPT to JIC adaptor wouldn't be that hard to find. What size hose is it? #4 or #6?

Can't wait to hear how it runs and how long the install took. By myself it took me 6 hours.-popcorn

#4

I haven't really kept track of time since I wasn't hurrying. Also, since I took Teddy (my dog) to the fire station with me, the time would have to account for the abundant breaks I took to walk him, feed him, and get him out of his kennel to play.

Bastard...;)

I actually asked him to send me two sets (I've got to use the two-piece fitting since the one-piece won't fit and I don't feel like grinding on the turbo up-pipe flange) so if I drop a piece, I'll have a spare. Heck, since I'll have that spare, this one will almost certainly go in like Flynn.

i know where it went

the top flange on the tranny, there is a web that sticks out, it has a weird recess that stuff will hide in for weeks. I found my 5/16 socket there that i had lost for some time.
i did everything but turn the truck upside down to find it.

the exhaust pipe comes up and sort of hides the recess.

I'm glad I had plenty of room.:p

As far as cold....it never got out of the 30's when I did mine. Good thing I'm solar powered.:D
