I put one on a couple of months ago....Got mine from Dale Isley @ Tymar. It is pretty inexpensive from him and I am happy with the result...smoothed out my idle and overall just seems to run smoother at all speeds. I think its a good mod. The Tymar HPX line is GREAT quality...best I have seen IMO.

Good Luck,
Casey

I've got one on my truck and it made the idle quieter and smoother. As far as hp and performance there is no SOTP gains and I'd bet prob little to none on a dyno.

Got my HPX from Dale. Don`t know if it made much difference or not, BUT I like the idea that it has to improve the high pressure oli circulation. Kinda like a 4X bypass operation.:thumbs

what is Dale getting for one of these? I have looked at ITP but those are $65.

If you don't mind running a hose that's 5000psi rated from a hose shop I know the length and pieces you need. Some have had problems with the flexible hose type but hydraulic line problems are common on field equipment that's as old as ours. I just check mine everyday almost. I've had to replace two orings where the fitting goes in the passenger head, nothing on the other.:dunno

would your hose shop have the fittings to use a hard SS line? I can get the tubing but no source for the fittings.

Had one on mine, but couldn't tell any difference. Removed it a few months ago but still ran the same. Seems to help some trucks and not others. Cheap mod so worth trying IMO.

A word of caution when spec'ing out your own hose: Check the temperature and pressure ratings for the specific hose! Many hoses will have a sufficient pressure rating, but at a lower temperature. The pressure rating will decrease as the temperature increases. Dale was very thorough when coming up with his. Besides his is cheap enough to justify just getting it. Then there's no parts chasing, trial assembly, disassembly/reassembly, etc. JMHO, Cheers!
