HPOP psi????

just wanted to know what is the normal psi at idle and upward....had a scanner hooked up the other day and was reading around 600 psi at idle, didn`t get a chance to drive the truck with the scanner hooked up....

600 psi at idle is OK. I am not too sure how high it will go, but 27,000 psi is what I have heard. It will not start unless it has 500 psi.

thanks Dave...going try tomorrow to take it out with the scanner hooked up and watch the psi....was just reading that IPR is set to 4000psi ....

Hi atk, my Commander registers about 570psi at idle and around 3500psi at full throttle high rpms.

My truck is a 05.

i wanna know what scanner you have thats monitoring
the HPOP....

Snap on....Modis....scanner from work, finally got the updated programming, now i can do almost anything dealers can, except the reflashes....

why do you want to know? and thanks for the pic, but i have that info too....

cause i wanna know WHAT tool is measuring the actually
HPOP...theres no sensors in line that will measure anything
but the minimum or the maximum (pop off/by-pass).

and the case in point is it isnt 27k psi...

will it not take it readings from the ICP OR IPR? if it is 27k, them why is the IPR have a 4000 psi relief....where it show the psi going from 27k down to 4k, or am i missing something....

I think Bushpilot was talking to DaveBen regarding 27k.

Oh and YES there are guages that read real-time HPOP pressure via the ICP sensor.
