HP gains, but quiet muffler???

7.3.

Some companies (like Magnaflow) say that perhaps the 3.5" downpipe from the turbo will give you a bit more bottom end on lightly modified engines. That you guy's experience?

I figure the 4" is best all around.

My 7.3 with a Flowmaster American Thunder system was depressingly quiet. I went with a muffler delete so that I could hear the exhaust insode the truck. My wife now hates it, and I now love it. The turbo makes it so quiet, that if you use any type of performance muffler you will be hard pressed to hear it inside the truck with windows up, and its not much better with the windows down. Straight pipe it and now your going to make some noise...about as much as a gasser with cherrie bombs or glass packs.
