I ALWAYS RESET MY COMPUTER WHILE DRIVING AND IT SAY'S 19-20 MPG AT 60-65 MPH,15-17 AT 55MPH.THAT MAKES ME FEEL GOOD BUT IF YOU WATCH THE FUEL GAUGE THERE IS NO WAY THAT COMPUTER IS RIGHT UNLESS MY TANK GAUGE IS INCORRECT,BESIDES THAT I LOVE MY TRUCK.ONE THAT I NOTICED IN THESE FORUMS IS SOME TEUCKS SMOKING WHILE IN REGEN MINE HAS NEVER SMOKED,I GUESS I DONT HAVE ENOUGH MILES ON IT.:)

hand calculated, my wife says I drive like a grandpa, I've found that if I dont go above 68mph i make good milage. I actually posted on the diesel stop with a photo of 21.2 mpg, had corrected its almost the same. thats sustained highway driving for a considerable distance, earlier this summer i went from cleveland to indiana cruise set at 75mph and made 17.8 the entire way.

gunman, it seems these trucks are not equal at all, meaning some get decent milage, some get horrible milage, some have had many serious problems, others not. I guess its a roll of the dice, and it shouldn't be either. Anyways, I love the truck, I looked around too, looked at GM, (had a previous Duramax that was good) looked at Dodge at local auto shows and just didn't like the truck, same with the new GM's, they just dont seem to compare when looking at suspensions etc. GM wouldn't give me answer if I could put a plow on their truck. Ford said bring it on. By far I think my Dmax had the best milage over 20 mixed hiway/street driving. But oh-well, I like this truck much better.

HI HDJEFF, I want to THANK YOU for the reply, I found out that there is a programmer that will give the 6.4 PSD an extra 210-250 HP rear wheel, to a stock F250. THINKING OF GETTING IT!!!!!

gunman, i would be skeptical of a tuner that would claim 210-250 rwhp, maybe torque, but that a whole hell of a lot of horses. The only tuner I've ever dealt with was a edge juice/attitude for my 6.6 Dmax. It was awesome, I only kept it for about a month because I feared I would break something having so much power on tap. I'm not going that route with this truck, I plan on keeping it stock.....maybe lol.

doubling of the hp from the factory !

and let me guess it also gets better
mpg while doin' it...probably takes
out the garbage too.

I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THE ONLY WAY SOMEONE IS GOING TO MAKE THAT MUCH MORE HORSEPOWER IS BY CHANGING SOME INTERNAL PARTS:D LIKE CAMSHAFT,PISTONS...ETC..ETC.....
ATLEAST THATS HOW YOU DO IT IN A GAS MOTOR..:D

I've spoken with both KEM and Spartan diesel. These trucks are seeing a 200dyno proven horsepower gain. Matt's truck put down 490 horses and 854 lb-ft of torque.

I've heard some great mileage numbers with these tunes as well. I plan on picking up my tuner in the next week or so with the DPF delete and I will post my results. If the gains are anywhere near what they are claimed, the tuner/dpf delete will pay for itself in under 12k miles. That's less than 5 months for me... :D
