How to modify a factory AIC box.

sorry to hijack...but how much does the ford aic run for the truck listed in my sig? can you get it from anywhere other than ford?

Ford quit selling them when the 05s came out. You might be able to find one on Ebay, or in the for sale section. Keith

It says it comes with the cable, it's just missing the connector on the one end of it. The instructions include the pinout, and it's only 4 wires, how hard could it be to make it work? :dunno

so then whats missing from the one on ebay? just the $56 part from powerstrokeshop? Id be up for getting that if all I need is the harness.

Yes the one on ebay is missing the XC3Z-14A411-AA harness and the mounting bracket.

I would not pay too much for it as they do say " I personally have not used this, but I did connect it to a 12 volt battery and it powered up". I would be nervous that they started connecting wires to a battery and maybe fried something. At the current price it is a steal so it would be worth a try. The seller also has 100% feedback so he is probably honest.
